I was seen on time and the Optometrist that saw me was completely honest in saying that it would not be advisable to issue a new prescription at the moment as I need to concentrate on getting my eyes healthier through drops. He told me what I needed to buy and what I needed to do and made me a future appointment. He then asked a colleague to note the glasses I had chosen on my record so when I returned, I would not have to spend more time than is necessary to ascertain what the prescription should be. Exemplary customer service.

Friendly and efficient but I dont agree that customers are verbally asked about their medical history and 'benefits' status loudly and in front of other customers...

I saw a young man this time who did the test he was really good told me I didn’t need new lenses as my eyes where the same but after he referred me back to his sales store staff she pushed for me to buy new frames! I told her no I’m not spending money for the sake of it!

Whilst I have consistently had very good service with the actual eye tests at specsavers, I have recently been very disappointed with the fit of the prescription glasses provided. The manager may recall my visit yesterday 12/5/26 and the shock on my face, as to achieve a ‘hopefully’ useable pair of glasses the cost is now going to total almost £600 (£400 for the first pair and £200 for the replacement). This follows 6 months of repeated visits to have my first pair of new glasses re-adjusted , which I found too uncomfortable to wear for long periods. As a result, I have been faced with replacing them!

I had a wonderful experience visiting the clinic on the 4th of May after developing a suspected emergency issue with one of my eyes. From the very beginning, the staff were extremely welcoming. Initially, I was offered an appointment in two days, but once I explained the seriousness of my symptoms and that the NHS had advised me to get it checked the next day, the office staff were very kind and managed to find a same‑day appointment for me. I was treated with the utmost care and professionalism throughout. Please continue the excellent work, it truly made a difference. A wonderful experience overall
